PLEASE HELP THIS LOCAL BUSINESS SURVIVE THE PANDEMIC, THEY DESERVE IT!! Red Orchid offers some of the best Thai in the metro Atlanta area for dine in or take out. My family and I have been regular customers for over 10 years and have always had a great experience. I highly recommend their coconut soup, drunken noodles, masaman curry, mango sticky rice, and Thai tea.

Main dish was pretty good. Spring rolls were awesome. Friendly service. Open and accepting of all people.

Food was delicious. Cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Inexpensive, tasty meals. I really enjoyed their version of Thai iced tea.

We've been eating at this gem for years and it has been delicious every single time. The curries are a fave! Great service and excellent food will always keep us coming back.

This place is legit! We had the beef pho, chicken panang curry, chicken wings, spring rolls, and basil rolls. Online ordering was a breeze, and it was hot and ready at the specified pickup time. Portions are generous, and the spiciness scale is right on. Don't get hot unless you're really used to heat. I highly recommend this place for real Thai cuisine.

I've been going here for 15 plus years! My parents used to take me when I was young and now I can't stop! Food is too good!!! It's my all time favorite Thai restaurant! Wish they were still open during these covid times!

Very good Thai food. Had the crab meat wontons and shrimp rolls for appetizers. Very yummy. Pork fried rice and sesame chicken were large enough to share.

Had a Yum Yai salad I didn't know it was taken off the menu. The staff made it with no complaints. Friendly place!!!!!

Hidden gem! This modest Thai kitchen is tastier than some of my regular spots in Atlanta. I ordered the cashew stir fry to go, and it was ready in 15 minutes. Flavorful sauce, super fresh veggies.The restaurant also offers sit-down dining (though it is a very small locale) and it is clean, quick, reasonably priced and has tons of vegetarian options. Will definitely make a stop here on my next trip to McDonough!

Went to another restaurant in an adjacent location but were turned away because we didn't have a reservation ( Valentine's Day) so we decided to try Red Orchid.The place is so under the radar but the food and service were top notch.I'm glad we arrived when we did because the place filled up quickly after 7pm.I'd recommend Red Orchid Thai Cuisine to the most discerning of diners.Triple thumbs up for Red Orchid Thai Cuisine.

Really good thai place. Thai iced tea is a must have. Pad thai is very saucey. Basil fried rice is a great rice dish

Good food and service. Nice and quiet in the restaurant, and not very busy for a Saturday night. Parking right in front.

Read a lot of raving reviews so it was worth a try. The food was ok, but a bit on the salty and oily side. There were only two tables active but service was still slow. Pepper tray did not have the dry dust pepper. The Thai Spaghetti was pretty much lo mein with a basil sauce. The food did have flavor and was MSG free but I cannot say it met the expectation from the reviews. The bathrooms were a bit dirty.

My first time here and the customer service was great. I was greeted. The young lady even helped me pick some stuff out to order. Food came out in a timely manner. Food was delicious, fresh and hot off the grill. I will definitely return.

Love love love this place! It’s clean, the food is delicious and the service is always friendly. We drive over an hour just to eat here. The drunken Thai noodles are the bomb 😬

Ordered Take-Out. The Pad Thai was ok, didn't blow my socks off or anything, the Thai Rolls were crunchy and good...BUT...that coconut soup spoiled my entire meal and almost made me turn green after a few bites. I've had coconut soup before from many great restaurants and this was HORRIBLE. It looked like they cooked a few mushrooms in a can of coconut milk with uncooked mushy tofu cubes. Lets just saw I lost my dinner afterwards...

The Food is great and the place is clean. The staff is friendly and inviting. This restaurant is 2 doors over from Results 24Hr Fitness.The prices are affordable and they serve you a lot of food for the price.

This was my first time coming to Red Orchid Thai Cuisine and I loved the food! The wait staff was very friendly and checked on my friend and I to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We both ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and my friend ordered some of the Crab Angels. The fried rice is the best fried rice I have had in a long time and my friend couldn't stop raving about how great the Crab Angels were. Everything was freshly cooked, had great flavor to it, and was very filling. I will definitely come back here to try out the rest of the menu.

This place is excellent! The food is good, the atmosphere is comfortably laid back, and the service is friendly. If I had any recommendation, it's that the restaurant could use a little updating, but trust me. you won't care once you start eating.

Service was great- food was marginal. I ordered PadThai where the noodles were firm and under cooked, sauce was greasy (it tasted similar to the pre-made from Publix.)We also ordered sweet and sour chicken which was bland. The chicken portion was the same that cheap Chinese restaurants serve.

Decent atmosphere, and pretty good Thai food for McDonough.

The Tom Yum and Pot Stickers were absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the basil duck, but the lamb was not that great. The sauce used did not pair well with the lamb. Customer service was magnificent

Desperately trying to find delicious Thai in McDonough, we tried Red Orchid Thai. The crab angels were cold and absolutely disgusting. I’m pretty sure they have no crab meat and are filled with pimento cheese. I couldn’t even chew and swallow it, I had to spit it out. The chicken Pad Thai was ok but could’ve been more flavorful. The Mongolian beef did not have the signature Mongolian beef flavor, but at least the beef was tender. The sesame chicken was soggy and also lacked flavor. I believe the issue is the base that they build the flavors on in each recipe lack traditional seasonings. The rice was old and some of it was brown and stuck together in the container. If I didn’t know better I think maybe Americans are cooking in the back.

A restaurant where the lake is divided into Thai style restaurants. The atmosphere is nice and kind.

Great service and wonderful food. Ordered the spring rolls which were nice and crunchy on the outside and tasted great. The Drunkin noodle ordered Thai hot with beef means hot and spicy. Yum!! Thai fried rice with chicken had a wonderful taste and fragrance. Definitely will return!

Ordered takeout. Food was available as scheduled and was even still hot when we got home.
